Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav
Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm by the students through an array of programmes. All classrooms, right from Nursery to XII, were decorated by students in tricolour. On the 76th Independence day, a ‘Prabhat-feri’ was organised by the school. Students and teachers marched through the vicinity with placards and even put up dance performances at intervals bringing out the theme of National Integration and gratitude towards the martyrs. Following the flag hoisting, an Independence day cultural programme was put up in school.
International Yoga Day 2022
The 8th International Day of Yoga was celebrated with much forever and gusto in the Drury Hem Sheela Recreational Centre of Hem Sheela Model School on 21st June 2022. The entire fraternity assembled to celebrate in the theme of “ Yoga for Humanity”, and to mark the glorious 75 years of India’s Independence with the motto being “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. The theme focused on our collective resolve and determination to shape the destiny of the motherland. The Physical Education teachers focused on the importance of Yoga and Meditation in our day to day lives. Different free hand exercises, Meditation and Yoga were performed enthusiastically by the teachers and staff of Hem Sheela Model School, Durgapur.
